Crowded teeth occur when there isn't enough room in the mouth for all the teeth, causing them to overlap, twist, or tilt. This can lead to issues with dental hygiene and other dental problems. It is crucial to address dental crowding promptly with effective treatment in Plano, TX to prevent additional oral issues. If you suspect you have crowded teeth, schedule an appointment at Urgent Family Dentistry with Our Providers for the necessary care and achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

According to the severity of the problem, multiple therapy choices may be available for crowded teeth. The most widely used therapies include:

  • Braces: Traditional braces are one of the most standard treatments for crowded teeth. They help by carefully maneuvering teeth into their optimal position over around 1 – 2 years.
  • Invisalign®: The Invisalign system involves using a series of clear trays that function in a similar manner to traditional braces. Although, the aligners are virtually unnoticeable and could be removed for meals and brushing teeth.
  • Tooth removal: For certain cases, one or multiple teeth might need to be removed to create room for additional teeth to relocate into their appropriate position.
  • Surgery for the jaw: In certain situations, a surgical operation could be required to adjust the position of the teeth and jaws.

Best service around. I was having an issue with a tooth that needed an immediate root canal. Urgent Family Dental made sure to go above and beyond to fix my problem! Thanks again.

Would absolutely recommend Dr. Hamdan and his great team at Urgent Family Dentistry! My boyfriend had a root canal abscess that seemingly popped up over the course of two days. It was a Saturday night and we felt pressed for time given the potential severity. I called Urgent Family Dentistry as soon as they opened on Sunday and was given a same-day appointment on the spot. We arrived at 12:50 for a 1pm appointment, filled out the paperwork, got in the chair within 5 minutes, and we were out the door within 15 after that. The young man that helped get his x-rays done was so kind and made my boyfriend, who is usually quite anxious about dental work, feel very comfortable. Dr. Hamdan was very kind and welcoming, and providing a detailed referral to an excellent and highly-rated endodontist immediately upon seeing my boyfriend’s tooth. The staff were all kind and patient, and Dr. Hamdan in particular is very gifted at what he does and was very thorough both with the examination and with helping his staff. We hope we will not run into a dental emergency again, but if we do, we will surely come here to see Dr. Hamdan and his staff again. Thanks y’all <3

Dr. Oveida was wonderful. I have a fear of dentists and she put me at ease. She was very gentle and kind. She explained everything she was doing step by step as to not surprise me. She didn't try to pressure me into other procedures. No scare tactics. I felt no post op pain. Her assistant was funny trying to minimize my fear. I received a phone call the following day to make sure I was OK. The cost was very reasonable unlike another dental practice named after the 3rd US president. Thank you again Dr. Oveida and Urgent Family Denistry.
